Off-Campus Housing Form

Oklahoma Wesleyan University is a residential campus. All unmarried students enrolled for twelve (12) or more hours of academic credit are expected to live in on-campus housing. Students who are married, living with parents, 22 years of age or of senior status (90 credit hours or more) may apply to live off-campus. The Office of Residential Life will review completed applications and only those approved may live off-campus. Students who do not receive written approval from the Office of Residential Life will be assigned a room and charged for on-campus housing. Housing charges will remain on the student’s account until the student has been approved to live off-campus.
All students who apply and are approved for off campus are expected to adhere to all handbook rules including but not limited to the following:
- Off campus students will not partake in or be in the presence of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco.
- Off campus students are expected to make housing arrangements with individuals of the same gender if they are not a direct family member or part of the host family.
- Off campus students are expected to refrain from sexual relationships that are outside the context of a heterosexual, monogamous marriage.
- For further expectations, refer to the student conduct section of the student handbook.
