Enrollment Information and Application

The  Enrollment Process is simple:

1.    Complete this Application for Concurrent Enrollment.  

2.      Ask for a copy of your High School Transcript to be sent to OKWU, or have it in PDF, ready to attach to this form.

Enroll in up to 12 college hours each Semester. A total of 45 college credit hours can be earned through the OKWU Concurrent Enrollment Program.

Transfer credits to any college you wish to attend. This is possible because OKWU is fully accredited by the Oklahoma State Regents and the Higher Learning Commission.

There are many classes available to you. As a general guideline, students may take 1000 or 2000 level courses as long as any prerequisite courses have been successfully completed. Some classes will need to have a placement test given to ensure your academic success. Each student’s schedule is subject to the approval of his/her academic advisor.

Juniors or Seniors may enroll.

A.     Students attending public or private high schools:

• Each student must have at least a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) on an approved transcript.

B.     Students who are schooled at home:

• Each student must have at least a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) on an approved transcript.

Providing your counselor/parent (for homeschool students) gives us permission to collect your transcript, official test scores, and confirmation of eligibility.

In compliance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) (Public Law 110-315), Federal Requirement 34 CFR §602.17(g), and HLC Policy Number FDCR.A.10.050, all students are required to submit proof of identity prior to being enrolled in courses. Acceptable forms of identification include official, government-issued and unexpired documents such as a driver’s license, passport, state-issued identification card, or birth certificate. By submitting this form, I attest that the information provided is accurate to the best of my knowledge, and dishonesty or inaccuracies in my application may delay or disqualify me from consideration for OKWU Prep. I understand that by completing this form, my enrollment is subject to acceptance into the OKWU Prep program and that enrollment is subject to availability on a first-come-first-served basis. Finally, by affixing my signature to this application I authorize the Registrar's Office at OKWU to enroll me in the courses I have selected above and understand that I am liable for any tuition and/or fees associated therewith. Should I choose to withdraw my enrollment, I understand that it is my responsibility to communicate my intent by emailing registrar@okwu.edu
